We believe that Education is empowering and if we can provide children the tools and conditions to learn today, they are able to lead a brighter future tomorrow. This may seem like a far-removed cause for many people, but we are a global community and we all have a responsibility to one another. Being a native of Liberia and a refugee ourselves we saw some of the struggles many Liberian children face firsthand. With lack of quality education, limited to no access to healthcare and a high rate of homeless youth local organizations and government programs that provide aid are struggling to keep up due to lack of funding. Helping Hand’s mission is to use education as a platform to assist in rebuilding the quality of life for the future of Liberia.
